Help them Code- Create and Participate in Code-A-Bit-Challenge 2022

Code-A-Bit 2022 is the third edition to this successful coding competiton which was started to engage students during the lockdown. The response received  last year was amazing and we had to live up to the enthusiasm showed by the students.

The projects submitted by the students last year can be seen here.

This year, the competition is going to be tougher/bigger and more exciting!!

Guidelines

Ages 7-12 years

1. Create a game using MIT Scratch 3.0
2. The game has to be created from the start by the participant only. Avoid Remix option
3. One submission per participant. First submission will be considered the final submission.
4. Mention the theme used in the notes section along with the instructions to play the game

Themes to be followed for games for 7-9 years

1. Holiday theme
2. Maze games

Themes to be followed for games for 10-12 years

1. Invent a new sport/boardgame  - Be Creative
2. Educate using a subject of your choice- Teach Mathematics/Science/Geography etc using a game
3. #TechForGood - How can you use technology for good. Be creative - either use any past examples or invent something new

Ages 13-15 years

1. Create a website using HTML/CSS 
2. The website has to be created from the scratch by the participant and  the code needs to be original.
3. One submission per participant.

Themes to be followed for website building 

1. Invent a new sport/boardgame  - Be Creative
2. SDG goal#15 : Life on Land
3. #TechForGood - How can technology be used for good. 

The registration is open now till 5th August 2022.

Finalists will be chosen by a group of jury and will proceed to the next round. 

Final date to submit :5th August 2022 11:59 pm IST.

Prizes

Winners will be selected based on their Creativity, Idea, Theme, Logic and Complexity of game/website.
